sale of second-hand local books.

and Hidden Bristol - John Hughes will tell us
stories of the spooky venues in our city.

22 November: The
Tuckett family of Frenchay - talk and slides of
this influential Quaker family by Alan Freke.

December: We
welcome Dan Evans with a film and talk on A History
of Bath Abbey, followed by our usual festive
supper.
- Tuesday
24 January: ANNUAL
GENERAL MEETING, followed by a talk and slides by John
Bartlett on Clevedon Court - still a family
home.

28 February: A
life on the Ocean Wave - the experiences of the
early emigrants to Australia on the s.s. Great
Britain - slides and talk by Cyril
Routley.
- Tuesday
27 March: David
Elsbury will help us recall some memories with his talk
and slides on A Wartime Childhood in the
1940s.
- Tuesday
24 April: The
history and adventures of that wonderful little ship the Matthew
by Shaun Spencer-Smith.

22 May: The
myths and secrets of Redcliffe Caves - overground and
underground revealed by Alan Gray.
All talks start at 7.45pm at St
Peters Rooms (side of St Peters Church), Church Road,
Bishopsworth.
